I work with embroidery in the same way as painting: as a medium. I look for compositions, the burst of brilliance, the alternation of shadows and lights thanks to the neutrality of the hue, white and its nuances. The pearls are arranged in flat areas or in pointillism, the folds of organdy are superimposed like oil paint under the painter's knife, the plastic petals are placed and intertwined like elements of a sculpture. The fiber is looked at, dissected, apprehended with the aim of giving rise to free associations of ideas, unpremeditated sensations. Start a line on a naive cotton veil and let it reveal volumes, bas-reliefs, depths. Accept all materials, all textural effects on the condition that they are suitable. The propagation of the elements is free and flourishes in abundance.
