Archetype

Archétype comes from a series of works and reflections begun in artistic residency in Saint Thélo (22).

Through it, I transcribe the words of weavers of today and yesterday. It is not the know-how itself that interests me but the links, the relays that it allows between individuals over time. The exchange of words and uses influences the recipient in his way of creating and thinking, who himself transmits later. There is a before and an after thanks to this dialogue. The works illustrate the vestiges, scraps of these words and the thread that stretches towards a future, towards a new writing.
